3 Sep 2010 - Demoing New Songs This weekend I start demoing a few new tracks for the band and working on some new song ideas. We're getting lots of new songs together. Danny and Malcolm are bringing their songs in too! We'll definitely be playing new songs at the Proud gig on 27th. We still have a few £4 tickets left, so get in touch and we'll get some out to you!
21 Aug 2010 - Recording Acoustic Version of "Need Some Time" Today I started recording parts for the acoustic version of "Need Some Time" that will be available FREE at the next gig! Malcolm comes to record his bass and vocal tomorrow, Danny and Warren will do their parts early next week. We might do a full band version later on. But for now we'll have a recording ready for you at the Bull and Gate on Thursday. See you there for our 8pm set!
7 Aug 2010 - Free Commemorative Gig CDs Our Hope and Anchor gig went really well on Tuesday, with loads of people turning up and getting hold of the free CDs, which contained "Not About You" and an exclusively recorded acoustic version of "Laughing". We're going to make as many special CDs for gigs as our finances allow so that everyone has something unique to take with them from the gig as a thank you from us.
NEXT GIG: 27 Sep 2010 - Proud Galleries

Since making their explosive live debut at the Metro Club in central London, Run Don't Walk quickly became a near-permanent fixture on the London club circuit, gigging around the UK and Europe promoting their self-recorded EPs. Their debut single, "Need Some Time", was released by Organic Records in January 2009. Produced by Dan Swift and mastered by Alex Wharton at the world-famous Abbey Road studios, the single opened the band up to new venues and audiences. After a heavy schedule of live shows, recordings, radio sessions and press interviews, the band re-jigged the line-up and added synths to their guitar-led brand of indie-rock.
The new sound was revealed in March 2010 with a storming performance at London's Rhythm Factory. Founder members Kabir Sheikh (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Danny Gregory (guitar, vocals) were joined by Malcolm Frost (bass, vocals, keyboard) and Warren King (drums). The further depth, dimension and influences added by the Malcolm and Warren soon found their way onto the new line-up's first recording: the four-track EP, "This Is What We Do".
Alongside expanding their sound and style the band have also started playing stripped back acoustic shows, having previously enjoyed an acoustic radio session so much that they decided to create a whole set to play live. The acoustic gigs, new recordings and a club gig in Berlin have seen the band up step up to a new level and they are already looking to the next...
